The Merrimack Valley Cottontail Clinic opened in Andover, Massachusetts on August 3, 2020.
Led by Rick Snyder—wildlife rehabilitator and bunny whisperer—MVCC has seen positive outcomes in some of the most challenging cases, and their research into novel milk replacement protocols has achieved unprecedented improvements to the probability of survival among hand-reared orphans.
By promoting coexistence between wild rabbits and domestic dogs they also eliminate the need for intervention hundreds of times each season, keeping baby bunnies and nursing mothers together.
